Please find a list of Homework activities below. Children should read their reading book 4 nights per week. The tasks on the top row should all be completed. The other tasks are suggested/extra which your child may want to complete. Please complete tasks in the Homework jotter provided. All tasks should have a heading and a date and be set out neatly, like in school jotters. Please tick the box and date when task is completed.

Practise your spelling words. Choose a spelling task to do so e.g. rainbow spelling, backwards spell, pyramid spell.

 

Read your reading book. 4 times per week. Maths task – Place value (standard notation, expanded notation and written) Complete your Times Tables Homework – bonus coins available for completing Grammar task – Subject and object
Try the Daily Rigour Maths problems. Find out some facts about St Luke and write them in your Homework jotter Learn the capital cities of some European countries for our weekly quiz. Play a game of boggle. You can find grids online. How many words can you make in 5 mins.

 

 

Write 4 sentences with your spelling words. Try to include connectives.

Write the following sentences in your Homework jotter. Write the subject in purple and the object in blue. If you don’t have coloured pencils then underline the subject and circle the object.
