Reporting to Parents

This session we will pilot a new reporting to parents document. We are always looking for ways to improve communications – an evaluation form will be provided with the report. We look forward to using your views to enhance future developments.

Reporting documents will be issued to parents in June.

I have now recovered from my recent injury and I am delighted to return to school. I look forward to working with parents, staff and children over this final term of the academic year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs McIntyre for managing the school during my absence.

Please continue to follow the blog where events will be continually updated.

Last Day of Term

We all had a very busy and exciting last day of term.

As we had  raised money for the ‘Dream Maker’ foundation that makes wishes come true for others,  we decided that we would come to school dressed as who we wished we were, for our final fundraising day. There were superheroes, characters from films, vets and doctors and of course some of us teachers wished we could be young again and a pupil at St Patrick’s.

Les Hoey MBE came into school to officially open our trim trail and he collected a cheque for £1140 which was our final fantastic amount.  He was very touched by the school community and our amazing fundraising. He brought all the children a chocolate Easter Egg.

It was a great end to a wonderful term.

Happy Easter everyone.

People Who Help Us

Primary 1 really enjoyed having a very special visitor yesterday afternoon.  Mrs Jardine came in to tell us all about her job as a Dietician.  Primary 1 now know how much they should eat and that sweet things are ok in moderation.  Thank you for giving us your time.

Enterprising Pupils

Well done and a big thank you to two of our younger pupils, sisters – Lucy P4 and Amy P1 who had a great idea to colour in, make jewellery from stones, with the help of grandad, and sell them at their house and help raise some money for our Lenten charity.

The girls raised £6.90. We are so proud of them.

Thank you mum for the photos.

A few reminders and a wee apology!

Firstly apologies for a wrong date on the newsletter – May day holiday is 1st and not 2nd May!(oops! )

P7 transition dates are 24th and 25th May.

Trim Trail opening is at 11.30 a.m. Hopefully the rain will stay off for this. We are very close to reaching our £1000 total.

I will post the final total later today.

School closes today at 2.30 prompt!

Well done to Emily, Jordan and Connor last night at the Spring Concert. They performed with the Beats of Brazil band on stage at the Royal Concert Hall along with pupils from NSP. It was a fantastic performance.
