Primary 7 participated in the Wear Yellow Walk today at Strathclyde Park. They walked all the way round the park and as this is a sponsored event they will hopefully raise money for St Andrew’s Hospice. The weather was beautiful and the entertainment was great. A lovely day was had by all!

Some children from Primaries 6 and 7 participated in the Summer Arts Festival with Beats of Brazil. The event took place in Motherwell Civic Centre. The children were simply outstanding!

Primary 7 children will attend Taylor High School on Wednesday and Thursday. Children will make their own way to and from school. They should arrive at Taylor at 9:00am and they will be dismissed at 2:30pm.
Children should wear school uniform and bring PE kit on both days.
I am sure they will find this a worthwhile and enjoyable day.

Parent Focus Group section of the blog has been updated.
Events for next session have been posted.
NB Summer Disco is on Thursday 8th June 2017. Disco (change of time) will start at 6:00pm and finish at 7:45pm.
£2:00. To be paid at door on the night.
Raffle tickets (10p) will be sold in school the week beginning 5th June.
Look out for letters in school bags on Thursday.

A big thank to Miss Park and the boys and girls in Primary 6 for organising a wonderful talent show.
St. Patrick’s, New Stevenston certainly has talent! It was a fun filled afternoon and the audience were entertained by gymnasts, boxers, dancers, singers, comedians and musicians.

Congratulations to the children from Primary 4 who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. It was a beautiful celebration. The children were a credit to their parents, the school and the parish community. A big thank you to Mrs Slavin and Father Gerry who prepared them. Thank you and well done!
