The week ahead…

Monday: Primaries 1 to 3 will join primaries 1 to 3 from New Stevenston Primary for a MAGIC ROAD SAFETY show.

Tuesday: Primary 7 will continue their transition visits to Taylor High School. Subject areas change again this week.

Wednesday: Primary 7 children and parents are invited to a WELCOME MASS AND OPEN EVENING at 7:00pm in Taylor High School.

Thursday: Primary 5 continue their swimming lessons in Sir Matt Busby Centre

Thursday is also a Dress Down Day – children will be charged £1:00, proceeds will go towards School Funds.

Buddies walking too and from Mass

Primary 6 and 7 enjoyed walking their buddies too and from the Welcome Back to School Mass last Thursday.

All of the children were very well behaved.

Lunchtime and After School Clubs

We have begun some new afternoon and lunchtime clubs last week.

Here are some reminders for your calendar.

Monday after school (Beginning tomorrow) – Athletics with Miss Forsyth P5-7 (FULL)

Tuesday after school – Street Dance for P1-3 (FULL) and

Beginning on Tuesday – Choir with Miss Hughes. There are still some places available for this club – A letter will be sent out to P4 tomorrow.

Wednesday after school ( For two weeks ) First Aid for P5-7 with Active Schools Lee McParland. (A couple of places available)

Please note that pupils do no need to sign up for lunchtime Fun and Fitness with myself, Mrs McIntyre. Pupils can come along at 1 p.m. to the GP Room and join in if they wish. No gym kit required.

Please note that this week’s Fun and Fitness will be on Monday lunchtime for P1-4 instead of Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes due to me attending Literacy training this week.

Staff inset training on Outdoor Learning at 3:15pm

Thursday: Primary 5 swimming at Matt Busby Centre

Whole school to attend WELCOME MASS in St. John Bosco’s at 9:30am. P7 to prepare the liturgy, all welcome.

Friday: CIO from NLC to meet with HT
