Primary 5 had fun playing in the snow this morning.
They made snowmen, had a snowball fight and made gigantic snowballs. Afterwards the class wrote poems and stories about the snow and even drew some lovely winter pictures using chalks.

The children are back at school, settled and working well. A newsletter with dates until Easter was issued prior to the Christmas Break this can be viewed on line or you can collect a hard copy from the office.

Friday
Primary 6 to participate in a Health and Wellbeing event at Taylor High School. Children will walk with their teacher to THS for 9:30 and return to school at approximately 12:00 noon.
P6 Children should wear PE kit to school on Friday.
Miss Coyle will begin Seasons for Growth with a small group of children (1:15- 2:00pm).

I hope you all had a lovely time over the Christmas / New Year season.
We have a relatively quiet week to start the New Year, Mrs Convery from Taylor High School will visit P7 for the next 5 Wednesday to work with the children as part of the their transition to high school activities.
On Tuesday P7 will be issued with information regarding their move to HS in August, please read information, complete Form PC3 and return it to school asap.
Below is information about Registration of Infant Beginners:
Registration of infant beginners 2017/18
Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1st March 2018 and 28th February 2019 should be registered during the week commencing Monday 15th January to Friday 19th January 2018.
At registration parents/guardians must bring each child’s birth certificate and proof of address, in the form of the current council tax bill – this must be produced. If appropriate and available, please also bring Baptism details.
Dates and times for registration in St. Patrick’s are detailed below:
Monday 15th January 9:30am – 10:30am
Tuesday 16th January 9:30am – 10:30pm
Wednesday 17th January 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Thursday 18th January 2:00pm – 3:30pm
If you know of any families who have children who are due to be registered, please pass this information on to their parents.

St Andrew’s Hospice – goods to the value of £318.30 were sold, money and unsold goods were returned to Hospice today. Thanks to everyone for supporting this worthwhile cause.
Mary’s Meals raffle raised £240, cheque is in the post, as this sum will be doubled if received before the 31st December. Thank you once more!
