Confirmation

Congratulations to the children from primaries 6 and 7 who were confirmed last night.

Behaviour, singing and responses were outstanding.

A big thank you to Bishop Toal, Father Gerry, Mr Kane and the music group, parents and all teaching staff who have assisted the children towards achieving this milestone in their faith journeys.

A special thank you to Mrs Carroll and Miss Park who prepared the children for this very special occasion.

Once again congratulations and well done!

Confirmation Retreat

As part of their Confirmation preparation, Primaries 6 and 7 took part in a Confirmation Retreat in St John Bosco’s yesterday. They were joined by the Confirmandi of Christ the King.

The retreat was delivered by the NET Ministries Team who joined us all the way from America!

Father Haddock heard the children’s confessions before we all returned back to school.

We had a wonderful day. It was full of games, drama, scenarios and prayers. We are now looking forward to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday evening.

First Aid Event

Thank you to all parents and carers who came along to the First Aid Event this week and learned some CPR skills from their children. The event was well attended and feedback was very positive and the pupils loved showing off their talents. Thank you also to Lee McParland, our Active Schools Coordinator for her dedication to this very worthwhile activity.  We will keep you posted about a parent first aid class coming soon.
