Hot Dog Morning

Primary 7 organised a Hot Dog morning to raise funds for our Lenten Appeal – SCIAF.  Rolls and jam/butter were available for anyone who didn’t want a hot dog.  A total of £129.00 was raised for this excellent cause.  Well done and thank you to everyone who helped make this morning a success.

Tally Charts!

In Primary 4 we have been looking at ways of collecting information. We have learned about Pictograms, Tally Charts and Bar Graphs. We decided that it would be fun to create a tally chart in our groups to then go and collect information from another class. The topics we decided on were favourite sport, animal, colour and fruit. We enjoyed going to a class to gather the information then displaying it in our tally charts!

P3 First Reconciliation Retreat

Primary 3 had a lovely, fun and spiritual day today at St John Bosco Church and hall at their Reconciliation Retreat. Pupils heard stories, watched video clips, completed an art activity, played games , meditated, sang , danced and were involved in lots of discussion and prayer. The pupils were well behaved and said that they had a really  fantastic day. Thank you to one of our parents, Stephanie McCrossan, who works for the Diocesan Centre, who led our retreat and provided an excellent support to Mrs Slavin and myself.
