The Parent Fundraising Group have arranged a disco on Wednesday 14th March from 6.30pm until 8.15pm.
Entry is £2.00 and tuck will be available.
Raffle tickets will be on sale on the night at 10p per ticket.

The choir from primaries 6 and 7 performed at the Glasgow Music Festival in the Primary School Choirs – Hymn Singing Competition today.
The got a Certificate of Merit and came in joint 3rd with St Teresa’ Primary. Their singing and behaviour were both fabulous. Well done and a huge THANK YOU to Mrs Ewart for preparing the children.

The NLC Dance event, re-scheduled for Thursday 15th March at Bellshill Academy has once again been postponed until Thursday 19th April. I will discuss this change with the pupils and Joe, their dance coach this week.
The final Street Dance after school session will take place on Tuesday this week from 3-4 p.m. A text was issued about this on Friday.
Back Packs for Mary’s Meals will be uplifted on Thursday between 11 and 12.30. PLEASE support this very worthwhile cause and send in a back pack with your child, clearly labelled whether it is suitable for a boy or girl and approximate age. Thank you.

The Book Fair will be in the school next week. Leaflets and World Book Day vouchers have been issued to the children. These can be used at the Book Fair.
On Monday, teachers will take the children to look at the books. Books can be purchased on Tuesday and Wednesday.
We will have a Book Day on Friday 20th April, this is the event which had to be postponed due to snow on Thursday 1st March.
Primary 6 will organise this event – it is to replace their Lenten Charities ‘toast and juice’ which had to be cancelled due to school snow closure.

Another busy week…
P6 & 7 children who recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation organised the collection of Back Packs with Mary’s Meals. All back Packs should be handed into the school ASAP.
Continue to encourage your child to put money in the WEE BOX in class, every time they place money in the box they colour a circle on their “Fill a Fish” all proceeds go to SCIAF. The government will double all monies raised.
Reminder – Eucharist Service in St John Bosco’s at 8:30am on Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Mass on Tuesday & Thursday.
Children who attend the 8:30 services get juice and a plain biscuit before going into class.
Monday
The children will visit Book Fair with teachers
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall – the choir from P6 & P7 will participate in the Music Festival. Mrs Ewart has worked hard with the children and their singing is beautiful. We wish them every success. The bus will leave the school at 12:45 and return at approximately 4:30pm.
Children should wear formal school uniform (shirt and tie).

Children from Primary P3 will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in St. John Bosco’s Church at 6:30pm. We look forward to joining with parents and parish community on this very special occasion.
Rescheduled Street Dance Event for P5 & 6 in Bellshill Academy (Awaiting Confirmation)
Friday
Children will attend Mass at 11:00am in St. John Bosco’s Church to celebrate the feast of St. Patrick. Children will take part in fun activities in the afternoon.
P5 Fair Trade Tuck Shop, profits will go towards Lenten Charities which is SCIAF.
Back Packs will be uplifted today.
