Sport’s Day

This year to mark the Commonwealth Games, team work and healthy competition,  our sport’s day format will consist of races and events for each class. Pupils will race against their own class, except P6 and P7 who will also compete in a Championship event- P6 finalists against P7.

Each class will represent a Commonwealth country and their class will choose a flag bearer to lead out their team.

Primary 4 have responsibility for designing the flags.

Pupils from P6 will be chosen to support the organisation of the events for each class.

Pupils from P7 will be chosen to assist with equipment organisation.

P1-3 races and events will be held first and there will be their medal ceremony before beginning the P4-7 races and events. There will be a medal ceremony for P4-7 afterwards.

Here are a list of the classes and countries. If possible we would like if your child could wear a top/shorts/jogging trousers of this colour.

P2: Canada   (RED)

P3: India      (ORANGE)

P4: Scotland  (BLUE)
