1st Holy Communion

Please remember the Primary 4 children in your prayers as they receive Jesus in Holy Communion for the first time tomorrow.

Reminder:

All children should be escorted to the sacristy by 10:45am on Saturday 12th May 2018.

Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday 13th May at 11:30am – children should wear Communion clothes to Mass. They will sit with families, Father Gerry will present them with 1st Communion Certificates during Mass.

I hope the sun shines on Saturday.

It has been a pleasure to work with the children, their families and the parish community during this very special time in their spiritual journey.

P6 Bikeability (Group 1)

Some Primary 6 children have completed Bikeability Scotland Level 1. The others will complete the course over the next 3 weeks.

A huge thank you to Robert who helped encourage the children to develop the skills and confidence to ride a bike safely. They have really enjoyed learning how to carry out a bike safety check, fitting a helmet, basic bike control skills as well as improving their use of brakes and gears. They all listened and worked very hard. Well done P6 🙂

P6 Science

Primary 6 were able to make a hypothesis about what objects would float or sink. The children enjoyed working co-operatively with their peers to carry out their experiments. They enjoyed learning about Density and Surface Tension. Well done p6 🙂

First Holy Communion Retreat

Primary 4 had a great day visiting Schoenstatt for their First Holy Communion Retreat. They enjoyed taking part in lots of activities including listening to a story, visiting the shrine, arts and crafts, music and a treasure hunt which was their favourite! The day ended with a lovely mass and everyone had a nice time.
