P6 Spain Topic

The children have enjoyed learning about ‘La Tomatina’, a Spanish festival which involves throwing tomatoes. They have been looking at the work of Antoni Gaudi and painted their own colourful stars and mosaic effect patterns onto their animal templates. They have been very creative. Well done boys and girls. 🙂

P1’s Special Visitors

Primary 1 had a fantastic afternoon with their special visitors.  The firemen came to visit us and everyone got to go on the fire engine and got to spray the water all over the car park.

We all had great fun and learned lots.  Thank you to Fireman Andy and his crew!

Scottish Parliament

Some children from St. Patrick’s Primary who receive English as an Additional Language tuition leave St. Patrick’s Primary to travel to Airdrie Train Station where they will board a train for Edinburgh. They will walk from the train station to the Parliament buildings for a tour and a meeting with an MSP. The sun is shining and I am sure they will have a wonderful day.
