Health Week St. Patrick’s Style…

Stations:

All classes enjoyed participating in station activities in the gym hall today.

Primary 1 enjoyed completing the Daily Mile on scooters.

A big THANK YOU to the representatives  from LITTLE LIFE SAVERS who took time out from their busy lives to teach primaries 5, 6 & 7 important life saving skills.

They were taught and put each other into the Recovery Position, how to help someone who is choking and how to perform compressions on someone who has collapsed. They know how to call for help and to continue with compressions until help arrives.

Very useful life saving skills.

P4 Published Poetry

I’m delighted to let you know that the children in Primary 4 have written some wonderful poems which were sent away to the Young Writers Poetry Competition.

Their poems are now going to be published in a book called ‘Poetry Wonderland – Scottish Rhymes.’ Parents have been issued with a letter today so you can give your permission for your child’s poem to be published.

I am very proud of everyone in P4. Well done. 🙂
