Bikeability 2

Some Primary 7 children took part in the first session of Bikeability 2 today.  Some skills covered were starting, stopping, signalling and balance games.  We cycled around the car park and had to be careful of cars entering and leaving.  We are looking forward to going out on the roads next week.

Health Week in P2

P2 were really active during health week. We went to the park, walked the Daily Mile and took part in some Cosmic Yoga! We know how important it is to keep active.

Health Week P2

P2 had a wonderful time during health week. We loved learning about healthy eating. We talked about fruits and vegetables. We tried naming and organising them. Then we got to try lots of different fruits and vegetables. We especially liked the strawberries and the peppers!

School Sports

The children had a fantastic sports afternoon, the rain came on towards the end, however it did not dampen the children’s enthusiasm.

A BIG THANK YOU to Aldi in Mossend who provided water and fruit, the children enjoyed them when they returned to class.

Congratulations to the winning team – the GREEN team!!!

First Communion Retreat

The Primary 4 children enjoyed their visit to Schoenstatt Retreat Centre yesterday. The children enjoyed participating in activities and visited the top tower where they got to admire the beautiful sights surrounding them. They enjoyed visiting the church and were complimented on the excellent manners and respect  shown throughout the day.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the children’s First Communion retreat so special and memorable.

Well done Primary 4 🙂
