Settling into P3/4

The boys and girls in Primary 3/4 have been playing nicely with each other during our gym lessons. The sun was shining on Thursday afternoon so we all enjoyed spending time outside on the pitch.

The children have been very creative this week too, making their own ‘Forky’ using various art resources. Each one was unique, just like them.

Primary 3/4 have settled back into school well and have been enjoying making new friends. Great work boys and girls. 🙂

Weekly House Winners

Barra and Cumbrae were joint winners of our House points this week.

Unfortunately rain prevented Harris from getting their extra play this week. Let’s hope next week’s weather is better😀

August House Winners

Congratulations to Harris House who are the winners for August for our House Tokens with 137 tokens. Pupils from Harris House will receive an extra play on a nice day, hopefully next week!

On Monday pupils will continue to ‘Go for Green’ and win some more tokens for their houses in September. All points for August will be added to the September scores.

Overall Term winners will be announced before the October holiday and there will be a prize for the winning house.

Delegates from the Children’s Council will be asking all pupils to think of some good ideas for term house prizes, next week. Get your thinking caps on everyone – and maybe some fundraising ideas too!

First Children’s Council Meeting

Today we held our first Children’s Council Meeting of the new school year. Delegates from every class have been selected along with our new Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Minute Secretaries and Secretaries. Pupils voiced their class likes and any concerns as well as talking about the Health and Wellbeing their class are participating in. Lots of great ideas were discussed and we are looking forward to putting a few of these into operation very soon. More information to follow soon.
