STICKER SHEET

We are delighted to say that with your help we have completed our ‘Aldi’ Sticker sheet collecting 300 stickers for our poster. We are guaranteed a sport’s kit for school and will be entered into the prize draw to win 20 prizes of £20,000. You never know..You’ve got to be in it to win it!!

However, we have been sent a second sticker sheet but our challenge is that we only have until 3rd November to complete it. We are appealing for your help and others in the community to see if we can collect enough to fill this second poster. Mr Creighton will speak to NSP at Assembly today and the local Co-op have also agreed to help us by putting a box in store. There is a box in the school foyer. We will keep you informed.

Active First Week Back at St Patrick’s

This has been a very active week at St Patrick’s for many of our pupils. On Monday many classes enjoyed a Judo taster session. Pupils were issued with a information about a local club at Ravenscraig.

This week our new Basketball and Football after school clubs started and next Wednesday our joint dance club with NSP will begin. I can’t wait.

Catriona our active school Co -ordinator brought in some work experience pupils from Our Lady’s High to organise some lunchtime games for P1 &P2 and tomorrow it will be P3’s turn. Many pupils got involved and had lots of fun playing with their friends and keeping fit.

Finally our Cumbrae House winners for Term 1 went to our local park for some extra fun and play. Photos are coming soon. Wow and it’s only week 1!

Young Leaders

Primary 7 enjoyed working with Catriona, our Active Schools Coordinator, on the Young Leaders Programme.  In groups we made up our own games and demonstrated them to the rest of our class.  We hope to work with the younger children in our school soon.
