Primary 7 had great fun this morning making the famous Kilbowie Energy Bars. Our flapjacks were delicious! All the staff enjoyed them too.

Primary 4’s Golden Time
The primary 4 pupils are really enjoying their Golden Time activities this month. Activities on offer in November include the wii player, giant connect 4 game, octagon shapes and other construction and small games.

Anti-Bullying Week, 16th – 20th November 2015
Today in Health and Drama, Primary 6 explored “Anti-Bullying”. We talked about this years’ theme -‘ Make a noise about bullying’ and pupils working in groups, came up with great ideas to promote this important message. Ideas included a chant, role plays, movement and using musical instruments. All pupils performed their ideas to each other and voted on their favourites. Well done everyone.

Kilbowie Memories
Primary 7 had a wonderful time at Kilbowie in Oban. We took part in a variety of activities throughout the week and we faced many challenges which we embraced with enthusiasm. Please enjoy looking at the photos of our week away.

Confirmation Enrolment
Children in Primary 6 and 7 who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should attend the Enrolment Mass at St. John Bosco’s Church, on Sunday 22nd November 2015 at 11:30 am.
Next week, children will bring home a Certificate of Commitment and Enrolment for the Sacrament of Confirmation, which should be read, discussed, signed and returned to the school before Friday 20th November.
Confirmation Information Session will take place in St. Patrick’s Primary at 7:30pm on Wednesday 25th November.
We look forward to working with parents, parish community and children during this special time in their spiritual journey.

Children are in lounge preparing to leave Kilbowie. Expected departure time is 10:35. We will send out a text when the children are about 30 minutes from the school. The bus is due to arrive in St. Patrick’s at approximately 2:30pm.

Disco Fever
Well we have had a wonderful final night at Kilbowie. We danced and had great fun at the famous Kilbowie disco. We are settling into bed and hope to get a good sleep to prepare us for our journey home tomorrow. We will be sad to leave Kilbowie but we can’t wait to see our families!
Food Standard Agency Posters

Well done to the Primary 6 pupils who took part in the annual ‘Food Standard Agency’ Competition recently. Pupils were able to transfer their knowledge from their class topic and health and wellbeing lessons to design fantastic posters whilst promoting important health and safety messages. The pupils said they really enjoyed working with their partner or in a trio to make their posters.
