The children were a credit to the school, parents and the parish community on Tuesday 23rd February. Bishop Toal commented on their signing and the way in which they answered the service responses. Very well done everyone.

Confirmation is in St. John Bosco’s Church at 7:00pm this evening.
Children and their sponsors should be at the church and seated by 6:45pm.
We look forward to the culmination of their work when they receive the Sacrament this evening.
It has been a pleasure working with the children, parents and the parish community.

A happy, healthy school was performed by primary 5 this afternoon. The children showcased their individual strengths and talents – they then explored skills of Olympic athletes. They described how they had coached primary 2 children. They explored the attributes of excellence, respect and friendship. They reminded everyone to keep trying and to improve on talents and abilities.
Very well done primary 5!!!

Week 1 – Crazy Hair/Wig Day at St. Patrick’s Primary, alongside our lenten sunflower appeal for St. Andrew’s Hospice, Airdrie has raised £350 WOW!!! What an amazing achievement, very well done everyone!!!

Primary 7 attended a performance by Theatre& about various road safety dangers. They learned about the importance of using crossings on busy roads in a fun and interactive way. A great time was had by all!

Some parents requested a photographer to be present at the Confirmation Service.
P 6 & 7 children have been issued with a letter outlining options.
If you are interested in taking up this offer, please complete the tear off slip and return it to school by Friday 19th February.
The photographer is Paul McNally, photographs of Christmas Nativity taken by Paul are on display in the main foyer of the school.

On Friday 12th February Bishop Toal spent the afternoon in St. Patrick’s Primary. He visited every class, met the children and the staff.
As part of P6 and 7’s preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation a question time session was arranged. Bishop Toal was happy to answer their many and varied questions. He then spoke to them about their Confirmation and what would happen on the night.
Bishop Toal’s visit was a very uplifting experience for the whole school community.
