Primaries 6 and 7 enjoyed a visit from the police. They discussed many issues such as cyber bullying, social media and different crimes. It was very interesting and has made us more aware of the importance of keeping ourselves safe.

We have a very busy week ahead.
Today ChildLine visited St. Patrick’s Primary to deliver workshops to primaries 6 & 7 on keeping safe.
Lyndsey, from St. Andrew’s Hospice gave health talks to all classes. She is very impressed with our fund raising efforts and she has been following our progress on line. She wishes to share some of our fund raising activities to a wider audience.
ChildSmile nurse visited primaries 1 & 2 today.
The gym hall is set up for fun fitness stations and all classes have been allocated a time slot.
Over the duration of the week the children will participate in a variety of health based learning activities.
The community police will talk to primaries 6 & 7 about internet safety on Thursday.
All classes will be timetabled for dance sessions on Friday. Health week will finish will a whole school Flash Mob Dance on Friday afternoon.

Please ask for a token and vote for St. Patrick’s Grounds Project when shopping at the following Tesco Stores:
Every token counts! We are already guaranteed £8000 to improve our school grounds. With your votes that could increase to either £10,000 or £12,000. Your support would be very much appreciated.
