The children were awarded The Pope Francis Faith Award at the Leavers Mass this morning. The children have been working towards gaining this award over the past 2 years. Congratulations and well done!

The school will visit Heads of Ayr tomorrow. All children should arrive at 9:00 am. The buses will leave at 9:15am. The estimated return time is between 4:00pm and 4:15pm.
The children should bring a packed lunch, no glass bottles or fizzy juice.
As always, be prepared for the Scottish weather, forecast is for rain in the afternoon – a rain jacket is advisable.
If bringing spending money, make sure it is in a safe place. Children will be responsible for their own money.
We are all looking forward to a lovely day out.

Mass is in school gym hall at 9:30am on Tuesday 21st June 2016.
Leavers assembly is at 11:00am, refreshments will be available after Mass.
Primary 7 will have a party on Monday afternoon.

Primary 1 entertained parents, grandparents and friends with a summer time assembly. They brought lots of sunshine to New Stevenston on this dull and wet June afternoon. The singing, poems and acting was fabulous. Well done!

Well done to Primary 6 who organised this afternoon’s talent show. Congratulations to the winners!

Primary 5 showed how brave they were on Wednesday when Zoo Ed. came to school as part of Science Week. Many pupils handled the snake.

Monday 13th – St. Patrick’s Has Talent – this has been organised by the children in P6 who are working towards gaining the Pope Francis Faith Award (PFFA). Proceeds raised from this event will go towards CHAS.
Tuesday 14th – School Sports (weather permitting) will begin at 1:15pm. Children will have an early lunch. They should come to school in suitable sports/PE kit.
All parents are welcome. Check letters in school bags for more information.
Parent Focus Group Summer Disco is at 6:30pm.
Thursday 16th – P1 assembly at 2:15pm.
This should be a fun packed week for the children and I look forward to meeting some of you at these events.
