Fair Trade Finance

December 10, 2015 by User deactivated | 1 Comment

Primary 5 have been working hard to sell off the rest of the fair trade stock They are happy to announce that it is now all sold. They have counted all the money and worked out that they have sold £641.85 worth of stock which is a fantastic support to fair trade farmers.

They have also made a small profit and together with donations they now have £65 which they have decided to send to Mary’s meals. The government will double this amount which means that 10 children will now receive a meal at school every day for a whole year. Wow! Well done to Primary 5 for all their hard work and generosity and a huge big thank you to all the children (and their parents) for their fantastic support.

Well done to Primary 5 for successfully running the Fair Trade tuck shop on Thursday.  Lots of satisfied customers and a great atmosphere of everyone working so well together.  Hopefully the money will balance at the end!
