Although we are still waiting confirmation about the amount of money we will receive from the Groundwork Tesco grant, which will be used to purchase new playground equipment to enhance pupils’ enjoyment and health activities during playtime and lunchtime, as well as providing further opportunities to increase outdoor learning, we have started some consultative work with all pupils in school. Last week all pupils were asked to talk with their classmates and teachers about activities and games they currently do outside and also what equipment and activities could increase this. Some pupils drew some pictures. On Friday, some pupils were chosen to incorporate those ideas into a video presentation called the ‘Pupil Voice

Wordsworth Project’. Photographs of the pupils making up the words to represent their ideas as well as ‘Talking Heads’ were filmed and this will be put together into a short animation. This will be available to view on Parents’ evening on Thursday 31st March. Hopefully by then we will be able to tell everyone how much grant we will receive.
