A Busy Term

Primary 1 are looking forward to a very busy term.

We have already started learning about life ‘Under the Sea’ and will move on to learning about ‘People Who Help Us’ in March. We get lots of visitors for this topic and it would be great if any parents would like to drop in for 5 minutes one afternoon (date to follow) to tell us about their interesting job and how it helps us!

In literacy we are learning all about phonemes and we are having great fun being phoneme detectives.

In numeracy lessons we are learning how to add and subtract and we are helping each other by talking about different strategies we use to get the answers.

I can’t wait to see all the mini aquariums the children are making…they are all very excited to show them off!
