Designing Our Fairyland Wall

This week we used materials that we have been collecting to create our own fairyland. We had a great time doing this! All of our ideas and creations came from the class and we had very creative ideas about how we could construct different parts of fairyland.

We made castles, magic wands and fairies, fair dust and a beanstalk. It is now proudly displayed in our classroom and we will be adding to the wall as our topic develops. Here are some pictures of primary 2 creating their fairyland.

We will carry on with our topic after the October week by exploring expressive arts, literacy, as well as other areas of the curriculum. On our first day back we will be designing our own fairy cakes and will be learning about food hygiene in the process.
