Hello from Primary 6/7

This week we had a special visitor from St Ambrose, Daniel, who is working with us for the next 6 weeks. Daniel is from Spain and we are delighted to be working with him for the next few weeks. It is a fantastic opportunity to practice our accent and pronunciation of Spanish words and vocabulary. This week we were learning about hobbies and sharing these. Have a go and see if you can guess some of our favourites.

Me gusta jugar fútbol.

Me gusta jugar baloncesto.

Me gusta escuchar música.

Me gusta leer.

Today, some of our sports leaders have been working with their peers as part of the challenge ‘Stirling Marathon’ where they are encouraged to be more active whilst in the playground at break times and lunch times. Lauren and Mia were recording distances travelled by each child and at the end of the challenge the children who achieve the full 24 miles marathon distance will receive a badge and a certificate. Well done to the children who participated today.
