imageimageimagePrimary One have been very busy this week working on our ‘Castles’ theme. The children have been learning all about the parts of a castle and did very well to label these.

They had great fun at purposeful play today where they were able to act out their learning on all things castles! The children created castles with moats in the sand, matched up castle parts, built a castle with strong defences, role played a royal banquet with costumes and coloured knights and princesses.

The children are really enjoying learning about castles and this will be topped off with a trip to Stirling Castle in February.

A fantastic week, Primary One!
