This week Primary 3 and Primary 3/2 had a special guest in to visit for STEM week. Mr McElhinney spoke to the pupils about lots of interesting things. We discussed the importance of builders wearing special clothing when they are working such as bright jackets, hard hats and hard boots. The children also learned how builders measure things and were able have a go at this themselves. The pupils had lots of interesting questions to ask at the end of the lesson.
Thanks again Mr McElhinney for taking time out of your day to come and speak to us. It was so interesting!
As part of STEM week we also tested our senses in a fun experiment with crisps.
What a busy week it has been!
We hope that you all have a lovely October week!  🙂
