The sense of smell is an amazing thing.

The ladies were talking about all the lovely things we like to smell.

Such as a different foods and spices, perfume, flowers or the smell of the grass when it has just been cut.

These are all smells we like.

Then we thought about smells that weren’t so nice like smelly feet or some of the smells the animals make on a farm.

Why don’t you make up smelling jars with good smells and interesting smells in them?

Puts lids on them then mix them all up.

When you are ready open the lid just enough to let your nose smell what is inside and try to guess what it is.

Be careful though some smells make your nose tickly and they can make you sneeze.

It will be fun.
