Let’s get organised

Good morning Primary 3/2,

Using the link below, you can access the home learning tasks for today, tomorrow and Monday.

 Thursday 26th March – P32 Home Learning

A new set of tasks will be posted next Tuesday 31st March. Good luck with your tasks, if you are stuck just give me a shout!

For today’s morning message I thought I would focus on organisation…

You might still be finding a routine that works for you at home, that’s ok. We’re all new to the home learning experience. It will be about trying different things and seeing what works for you! Here are some ideas of how you might get yourself organised, but you might already be on the ball…

Some ideas for organising your home learning could be:

  • PLANNING – Plan your day ahead with your parents, set aside some time for; home learning activities, food and snacks, free play, exercise, fresh air etc.
  • PASSWORDS – Find a notepad and write down all the passwords you need to access home learning materials. If you don’t have a notepad you could use a piece of paper and stick it to the fridge, this way it won’t get lost. (e.g., GLOW, Sumdog, Oxford Owl). If you need any passwords just message me and I can help!
  • HOME LEARNING SPACE – Finding a designated space where you can do your home learning comfortably each day, choose a place where you can focus.

Do you have any more ideas? What ways have you been getting organised or what plans have you got to get organised at home? I would love to hear them and it might give your friends some ideas too.

Remember, we’ll all have different ways of organising and doing things! The important thing is that it works well for you.

Take care,

Mrs Hasselstrøm
