Primary 1 have had another busy week in school. The children discussed their Personal Learning Plans at home and in the classroom to ensure that they are fully involved in setting their targets for the year.

In Literacy the boys and girls have been revising their sounds including… a, t, s, p and i. They have also been revising their common words. The words that they have learned so far in Primary 1 include… I, at, the, in, is and it. The children are working hard to remember these words and write them on their white boards and in their jotters.

The boys and girls particularly enjoyed this weeks play sessions with their Primary 7 buddies. They were dressing up, using play dough to make letters that they have learned, painting beautiful pictures and playing in the sand and water.
