The annual Diocese of Motherwell Education Mass will take place in Our Lady of Good Aid Cathedral on Tuesday 20th November at 7pm. Parents/carers and pupils are welcome to attend this Mass.
Wider Achievement
Some current and previous P7 pupils took part in an under 12’s Gaelic Cup Final today at Clydebank Community Sports Hub as part of the Coatbridge Davitts Gaelic football team. The boys and girls showed fabulous skill and class and won! Well done everyone you were superb to watch.
Global Citizens Shoebox Appeal
St Augustine’s global citizens committee want to thank everyone who donated a Christmas shoebox. They have been dropped off tonight at Shoe Zone beside Asda for pick up. You still have time over the weekend to drop yours there as pick up is Tuesday. Well done children for making such a huge effort and bringing lots of smiles to less fortunate children this Christmas.

The Infant Communications Team created some illustrations to celebrate our pupils wearing crazy clothes to raise money for Children In Need.

Well done to the 4 Superstars chosen by their teachers for special recognition this week. Well done also to the best line winners Room 2 and to the Best Class at Assembly Room 3. This is anti-bullying week so we learned about this at our assembly. Congratulations to our Primary 1 footballer and dancer who shared their success with us.

What a fabulous celebration we had yesterday as we received our Sports Scotland Gold Award. Thanks to Stephen for coming to present our plaque and flag. Thanks also to our P2s, P4s and dancers for the wonderful entertainment and to Vikki our Active Schools Coordinator for her continued support. Well done everyone. We are the Champions!
Primary 6 Showcase at Summerlee Heritage Museum
Thank you to family and friends of Room 16 Primary 6 who came along tonight to Summerlee Heritage Museum to share in the learning the children have been involved in over the last few weeks in regard to their Canal project.
We hope you enjoyed hearing all about the history of Coatbridge mining and were thoroughly entertained by their animation projects. Well done boys and girls you did a super job and should be very proud of your efforts.
Christmas Enterprise in P7
Primary 7 have been busy working on their Christmas enterprise this week. We worked really hard on presenting our items as attractively as possible and can’t wait to put these on display at the Christmas Fair.
