Monthly Whole School Assembly
On Friday the whole school gathered at our assembly to review our achievements and success over the past month. It was the last assembly for those House Captains who had been in office since August and was the first for those recently voted in.
As you will see we recognised those children nominated by their teacher for maths, writing and artists of the month. Well done to all our award winners.

P6 Trip to Celtic Park
Primary 6 children had the fantastic opportunity to attend last nights Celtic v Hibernian game at Parkhead courtesy of the Kano Foundation and Joe Bradley. They had a great time and were delighted when Celtic won.
Credit Union Collection
Our credit union collection will take place on Friday morning for anyone wishing to top up their savings. For anyone wishing to join forms are still available from Rm 8.
Compliments in P7
Today we gave compliments to this young lady. It was very obvious from the comments made she is a well liked member of our classroom and is thought of highly by her peers.
In primary 7 we have been learning the importance of good mental health and the friendships we have as we prepare to go to high school.
Meet our New House Captains
Fishy update from Room 15
WE HAVE ALEVINS!!
Our eggs have started to hatch and we now have lots of little alevins swimming about our Hatchery. It was very exciting to see how they’ve developed. We looked closely at them under the magnifier and it was amazing to see them and their yolk sacs. We look forward to seeing them grow!
High Flying homework
Last week, our scientist Willie was telling us all about how humans and fish are similar and how we evolved from them. He told us that when we are in the embryo humans have gills just like fish. They then disappear leaving 3 small bones in the ear. He set a task to find out what these were and this girl was the only one to rise to the challenge! Well done!
