Witness Scotland’s Top Female Footballers live in North Lanarkshire!
Scotland’s best women’s teams, Hibernian and Glasgow City, will be battling for the SWPL Cup Trophy.

Entries for the children’s events for this year’s Monklands half marathon will close on Wednesday 8th May at 12 noon.
It will take place on Sunday 12th Many and there are three events for children to take part in:
*9.30 – 100m Toddler Dash (up to 5 years)
*9.40am – 400m (Primary 1 – Primary 4)
*10.00am – 1K (Primary 5 – Primary 7)
In addition to a jigsaw medal each child will receive a bottle of water and a piece of fruit at the finish line. The event takes place at St.Ambrose High School.
Car parking stewards will be present to direct vehicles in the car park.

North British Gaelic Games
Well done to the boys and girls who represented the school today at this event. We got through to the semi-final of the top ranking teams and were narrowly defeated by one goal in the final. More importantly we were really well behaved and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. A credit to the school!

Breaking “News” in P7 – Open Afternoon
Primary 7 wrote and presented their own news reports today on the subject of natural disasters. We heard from earthquake and tsunami experts.
