Primary 1 and 2 Assembly
We have had 3 great weeks at our assembly celebrating success in class and outside school too. Take a look at some of our amazing achievements.
National Parent Gathering
National Gathering for parents with children in Catholic Schools. Saturday 21st September 2019, 9.30-3pm, St Francis Xavier primary school – Falkirk. Separate programme for children. Lunch will be provided. Places are free but need to be booked by phoning 0141 556 4727
This event is the only national event for parents with children in Catholic schools and aims to support them as the first educators of their children. The day will include activities for children, so that child care is not an obstacle to attending. We hope that the programme will be of interest to all families and will help strengthen the link between Catholic homes, the parish and their schools.

Be Internet Legends Assembly
P4-7 attended an interactive assembly this morning with some very special guests. We were very lucky to work with Google Be Internet Legends.
During our session we learned about the importance of staying safe online and how to keep our information secure. We learned what phishing means and also about over sharing, particularly how quickly information is shared online.
We hope the boys and girls shared their knowledge you.
Gaelic Football Training
Just a quick reminder for P6 or 7 children interested in Gaelic football. Joe Bradley runs training on a Monday night 5pm – 6.15pm at Dunbeth Park and Tuesday 5pm – 6.15pm at St Ambrose. Please go along and give it a go!
New House Captains
Congratulations to our new House Captains who are now in position and will carry out their duties from now until January. We wish them great confidence and success as they carry out their role within the school.
Whilst congratulating our House Captains we cannot ignore the pupils who also put themselves forward for election. It was a delight to witness you putting yourselves forward. You should be immensely proud of yourselves for showing great bravery, confidence and professionalism. Whilst you may have been unsuccessful this time we are certain you will try again in January.
