Tickets are selling fast for the Pink Ladies Night on Friday 11th November at St.Augustine’s Church Hall. Tickets are priced at £5.00 and are available from PTA members or from the school office.
School Meals Week
Please note the changes to the menu for this week as new items are added to the menu to celebrate Scottish School Meals Week.
For every two promotional school meals sold on these days, Unilever will donate one meal to children in Kenya. This provides a great opportunity for the children of North Lanarkshire to support others, while at the same time enjoying the tasty school meals we have to offer.
Facility Support intends to recognise the school with the highest sales and therefore the most meals to the children of Kenya!

Getting Ready for Halloween
Room 3 had lots of fun in the kitchen this week making delicious chocolate Halloween apples. The smell of the hot melted chocolate was delicious and it was very tempting to taste it from the bowl.
They decorated them with spooky Halloween decorations and they said they tasted delicious!
Room 3 Sharing their learning
Room 3 have been learning about 2D and 3D shape this week and as part of their learning they brought in several pieces of junk from home and worked in co-operative learning groups; with help from P7 boys, to design and build their own 3D Shape Robot.
They had lots of fun and the results were fantasic, the robots are on display outside the classroom for everyone to see!!!
Halloween Parade
The boys and girls enjoyed getting dressed up on Friday to have a Hallowen Parade. Our Pr.1 – 3 pupils entertained parents with some songs and poems in the morning and our Pr.4 – 7 pupils had their own parade in the afternoon. A huge thank you to parents for your great effort and creativity in making such fabulous costumes!! Quite outstanding!!
Pr.4 – 7 Halloween Disco
Check out our slideshow of the Halloween Disco for Pr.4 – 7. A fabulous night was had by all. Apologies to parents for having to wait to pick up their child after the disco but we must ensure every child is picked up from the premises. Children are not allowed to leave without an adult. Due to the volume of children and adults we had to stagger everything to ensure we did not become overcrowded and could fully ensure all children were picked up by a parent. Your understanding and patience in this regard was much appreciated.
Pr. 1- 3 Halloween Disco
We have tried to capture the essence of a very successful disco organised by our exceptionally hard working and dedicated PTA. Thank you ladies for all your support. The disco was a huge success and enjoyed by everyone.
Spotlight on Talent
Football Festival
The weather did not put off Pr. 5, 6 and 7 pupils as they took part in a 7 a side football tournament at St.Ambrose High School this week. The report from supervising staff was that the children were all excellent ambassadors. Well done boys and girls.
