The boys and girls of Mrs.Murray’s class were highly industrious throughout Maths Week and created their own maths themed games. They will be testing them on another class this week. Great team work boys and girls!!
Miss Cameron wanted to share the learning taking place in her class as the whole school had a focus on Maths this week. The boys and girls were learning to tell the time using a clock with Roman Numerals. They also made a shopping list using Roman Numerals. Here are a few pictures of the children at work.
Many thanks to everyone who joined us last night for the Open Evening and Meet the Teacher Night. We hope you enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to meet your child/children’s teacher. We greatly appreciate such a fabulous turnout to support the work of the school. Below is a link to the presentation from last night that shared our vision for the year ahead.
Our annual Meet the Teacher night takes place on Thursday evening from 6.30pm. Parents and pupils are invited to attend the school for a chance to meet their child’s teacher and for a chance to see their learning einvironment. A brief meeting will take place in the school hall for parents, to share the school improvement priorities for this school session, to share our vision for the year ahead and to launch our school app. Father Kane will also be popping over to say a few words along with our Parent Council who wish to introduce themselves. We look forward to meeting everyone on Thursday.
Primary 6/7 and primary 7 have got their design and accountant hats on this week whilst working on a theme park challenge. They are using lots of mathematical skills working with a budget of £500k. Some of us are getting very excited and even considering hotels !! Watch out Coatbridge a new theme park coming soon.
