A huge thank you to our fabulous school community for supporting our Christmas Fair today. Your continued support raised approximately £3000 for school funds. A huge thanks is extended to our wonderful PTA who organised and ran today’s event.

Christmas Fair
Our annual Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday. Doors open at 11.00am. Lots of terrific gifts, tombola, bottle stall, café, Santa Grotto and much more!! Come along and support the school.
Credit Union Reminder
Attention all savers! Credit union collection tomorrow. Anyone wishing to join forms still available.
St Andrew’s Day Celebrations
Thanks to family and friends who joined us today in our St Andrew’s Day celebrations. We hope you enjoyed the afternoon. We had a great time performing for you.
SPCA Visit
We had a great visit today from Nicky at Scottish SPCA who taught us about the importance of looking after animals. We learned about some interesting cases the SPCA have been involved with and what to do if we think an animal is not being looked after properly.
PTA request
Our Christmas Fair is fast approaching and the PTA have a request. They are looking for some helpers to help set up the hall on Friday afternoon, to help man some stalls and help clear up after the fair.
If people can spare time to help prepare on Saturday ( 9-11am to set up, 11-1pm to help on a stall, or 1 – 2pm to clear up) that would be great. Even if someone can help for half an hour on a stall, to allow another helper to either take their child to see Santa or get to buy some gifts, it would be so appreciated.
Please contact the school or a member of the PTA if able to assist.
Christmas Show
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow for our Christmas Show. Tickets are available for Wed. 12th Dec. 6.00pm and Thurs. 13th Dec. 1.00pm. In the first instance there will be 2 tickets available for each child. Price £4.00. A further release of tickets will take place later next week for those families wishing to buy more tickets.
Celebrating Success At St.Augustine’s
These Primary 3 pupils were delighted to share their achievements at Gymnastics . They were loaded down with medals. Well done girls!
Monthly Assembly Awards
Very well done to these pupils on the special recognition they have received from their teachers at our end of month assembly. The pupils were rewarded for excellent work in Literacy, in Maths or in Art. Their work will be displayed in the corridors in school. Keep up the great work!
