In order to support a positive learning environment for pupils and to help make the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) more prominent and relevant P7 had the opportunity today for quality discussions to take place.  We  discussed what makes a good class and shared the qualities we would like our teachers to have and what we need to do to be good pupils as well as what we would like included in our lessons.

By taking part in this task we encouraged lots of pupil led dialogue and got to share what is most important to us in our own classroom context.  Our next steps are to agree what is most important to us – we might even vote before agreeing on our Class Charter.

Huge thanks to family and friends who joined us for our P7 Leavers mass and awards assembly.  We hope you enjoyed your afternoon celebrating many achievements and recognition of hard work over the past year.

For the first time ever all classes were tied for the Best Line Award. Well done everyone!

This young man was delighted to receive compliments from his classmates today. He was described as fun, hysterical and one of the best friends you could ever have – you can’t ask for anything better than that ! What a way to finish off P7!

Primary 7 had an amazing time at their Leavers Disco last night, so much so they asked today if they could do it all over again! The boys and girls looked super – well done to everyone involved in getting them ready for the evening, the children were a credit to their families and really know how to have a good time.

A huge thanks goes to our fabulous PTA for arranging and putting on the night.  Each child will be provided with a CD containing all the photographs taken which they can treasure.  In the meantime here are some those captured on the night.  More to follow.
