Face Coverings

From Monday 31 August secondary pupils should wear a face covering in corridors and communal areas. Exemptions apply for some medical conditions.

Adults, young people and children aged 5 years and over who are travelling on dedicated school transport are also required to wear a mask.

Children, using school transport,

*must bring their own face covering

*store these safely in a washable, sealable bag or container when not in use

*wash reusable face coverings in hot water at the end of each day

*safely and hygienically dispose of disposable face coverings after use.

Please remember that a face covering can be as simple as a scarf, snood or other piece of cloth which covers the nose and mouth.

Social Distancing

Many thanks to the majority of parents who are abiding by the advice and guidance coming from Scottish Government and the school in relation to social distancing/wearing a mask around the school at drop off and pick up times.  Please avoid standing at the school gates (particulary if you are not wearing a mask) as pupils need a clear exit and other parents have to pass a congested area.  It is great to see that so many of our pupils know their pick up point and can confidently meet you at a reasonable distance from the school and school gates.
