General Information

Scottish Opera Performance

P5-7 will work with Scottish Opera all day on Thursday and then showcase their performance of ‘Fever!’ in the afternoon.  Two tickets per family have been issued to all P5-7 children for the show at 2.15pm.  If you do not need your ticket, please return them to school to be balloted on Tuesday 31st May. Due to the hall capacity, there will be no entry without a ticket.

On the day:

  • P5-7 children need their PE kit (shorts and t-shirt).
  • P4-7 children will have interval at 9.40am.
  • Lunchtime will be early (12pm-12.45pm).

Please note that there will be no tuck shop service on Thursday 2nd June 2016.

Tuesday 31st May 2016

  • 11.30-12.00pm:  P5 Kodaly Music session with Mrs. McGregor
  • 1.30pm-3pm:  Mr. O’Donnell from Calderhead High School visiting to working with P6/7.
  • 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P4-7 Basketball Club led by Active Schools Coach (PE kit and water required)
  • 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P1-3 Walking Club with Mrs. Pollock and Mrs Robert (Outdoor PE kit and water required)
  • 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P5-7 Cross Country Club (Outdoor PE kit and water required)

 

Wednesday 1st June 2016

  • 9.00am-11.30am:  P6/7 attending Wear Yellow Walk at Strathclyde Park.  Snack and water bottle required.  Pupils may dress casually and should try to wear something yellow.
  • 9.30am-10.15am:  Celebrating Success Assembly (remember to bring any achievements from outwith school to share)
  • 10.30am-10.45am:  Tea with Mr. Clark for this week’s Pupils and Workers of the Week
  • 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P1-3 Multi-Sports Club with Active Schools Coordinator (PE Kit and water required)

Thursday 2nd June 2016

  • SCOTTISH OPERA PERFORMANCE DAY – see above
  • 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P5-7 Bikability Club led by Miss Tiffney (Bike, Helmet, PE Kit and Water required)
  • PLEASE NOTE: NO FOOTBALL CLUB THIS WEEK

 

Friday 3rd June 2016

  • 9.30am-11.00am:  P7 at Team Building event at Calderhead.
  • 10.00am-2.30pm:  Malawi Football Tournament at Ravenscraig.
  • 11.00am and 3.00pm:  Fiona from Childsmile in Nursery.
  • 11.00am-12.00pm:  Miss Law delivering final Roots of Empathy session with P2.
  • 12.30pm-2.30pm:  4 pupils attending P6 Badminton Tournament, Wishaw Sports Centre.
  • 1.30pm-2.30pm:  P6/7 Boys Football League at Calderhead High School
  • 2.15pm-2.45pm:  Golden Time
