On Tuesday 8th March 2016, the school dining hall will be going cashless.  Look out for more information about this in school bags, twitter and emails this week.

World Book Day – CHANGE OF DATE

Our World Book Day celebrations have been moved to Friday 4th March 2016 to accommodate the swimming on Thursday.  Children are invited to come to school dressed as a character from a book and to bring in a nearly-new book for the Book Swap.

After School Clubs

• The Fun Fitness and Cross Country after school clubs have now finished.
• There is no Science club this week
• This is the final week of P1-3 and P4-7 Arts and Crafts Clubs

Monday 29th February 2016 

• 3.00pm-4.15pm: P4-7 Arts and Crafts Club with Mrs. McGurk.
• 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P1-3 Rugby Club with Active Schools Coach (Outdoor PE Kit and water required)

Tuesday 1st March 2016 

• 11.15am-12.15pm:  Library Bus in school for P4-7 children.
• 1.30pm-4.30pm:  P6 and P7 excursion to Sky Academy. Remember the late return!
• 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P4-7 Dance After School Club with S6 Sports Leaders (PE kit and water required)

Wednesday 2nd March 2016 

• 9.30am-10.15am:  Celebrating Success Assembly.
• 1.30pm:  Miss Law in P2 to deliver Roots of Empathy programme.
• 6.00pm-8.00pm:  Parent Council Meeting.  All parents/carers of school and nursery welcome to attend.

Thursday 3rd March 2016

• A new Nursery play hut will be installed in the grounds today.
• 9.15am-11.15am:  Primary 5 Swimming Block Week 11 (Swimming and PE Kit required)
• 11.00am-12.30pm:  Mr. Clark at Calderhead for Cluster HT meeting.
• 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P4-7 Football After School club led Active Schools Coach – (PE kit and water required)
• 3.00pm-4.15pm:  P1-3 Arts and Crafts Club led by Miss Thomson

Friday 4th March 2016 

• World Book Day – Staff and Pupils invited to dress as a book character.
• 9.30am-11.30am:  HT from Calderhead HS visiting.
• 1.30pm-2.30pm:  P6-7 Football at Calderhead for those in football team.
• 2.15pm-2.45pm:  Golden Time.
