Christmas Fayre
- The Parent Council Christmas Fayre will take place on Saturday 28th Nov from 12pm-2pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Entry is £1.50 for an adult and £1 for a child. There will be lots of stalls and a ‘special visitor’ too. The children have been making Craft Items in class which can be purchased at the fair. The Parent Council are looking for tombola prize donations and home baking for the tea stall – if you can help out, please hand items into the school. Thank you!
Non-uniform Day
- This Friday in non-uniform day for just £1 per pupil, with all proceeds going to our ongoing School Playground improvements. It has been suggested that we have a “House Colour” day. The children (and staff) are encouraged to wear something in their house colour and the house with the most of their colour will win 100 house points!

- 11.00am: Patricia Leeson, Scottish Attainment Advisor, meeting with Mr. Clark to discuss how the school is taking forward the Scottish Attainment Challenge.
- 3.00pm-4.15pm: P1-3 Fun Fitness After School Club (S6 Peer Coaches and Mrs. Kean). PE kit and water bottles required.
- 3.00pm-4.15pm: P1-3 Art and Craft After School Club (Mrs. McGurk and Mrs. Pollock).
Tuesday 24th November 2015
- 10:00am: Sandy Wood from Bedrock to see Mr. Clark – Bedrock is a charity which assists nurseries with outdoor developments.
- 1.15pm-2.15pm: Mr. Clark attending a meeting with the Self-Improving Schools group.
- 3.00pm-4.15pm: Cross-Country Running Club (Mr. Clark)
Wednesday 25th November 2015
- 9.45am-10.15am: Celebrating Success Assembly.
- 10.15am-10.30am: Tea with Mr. Clark for Pupils of the Week.
- 11.00am-12.00pm: Miss Cunningham in school to work with P6/7, training to become sports leaders.
- 1.15pm-3.00pm: P2 for Roots of Empathy session. Baby Isaac will join the class today.
- 3.00pm-4.15pm: P5-7 Carpet Bowls After School Club (Gym Hall).

- 9.00am-3.15pm: Mr. O’Donnell attending Solihull Training all day. Mrs Linfoot teaching P1/2.
- 3.00pm-4.15pm: P4-7 Football After School Club (Football Coach and Mrs. Pollock)

- Non-Uniform Day – House Colours
- 9.00am-12.30pm: Mrs. Inglis volunteer teacher working in P3, P2 and Nursery.
- 1.30pm-3.00pm: P6/7 Shotts Friendly Football League at Calderhead High School – Mrs. Pollock accompanying.
