All pupils in Social Subjects and Business are continually assessed on the work they complete in class. At various points throughout the year pupils will also be given a checkpoint test where they can demonstrate their knowledge. Rough timelines for assessments for each year group are shown below.

Pupils in S1 and S2 Social Subjects will sit courses on History, Geography, and Modern Studies on rotation. Each rotation lasts the same amount of time. Pupils may complete each course in different orders to their peers. The corresponding checkpoint test will be given at the end of each rotation.
