P7 Home Learning Activities – Term 4, Week 6

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all enjoyed a well-deserved long weekend! Please find attached a suggested timetable of home learning activities and group spelling words for this week.

I’m conscious that we are approaching our final month of P7 (holds back tears) which is why I’ve started (from last week) including lots of Transition tasks to keep you busy in preparation for going to high school – please try your best to do these as they will help you all especially if you have any questions/worries about going to high school!

For those of you who haven’t already done so – please can you send me a picture wearing your Leavers Hoodie asap, thanks to the pictures I have received and the lovely P7 poems, they have all put a smile on my face.

I plan on running a 3rd Lockdown Quiz for you all this week on Teams, you will see I have included this in the timetable – should the day/time change I will let you all know.

Have a wonderful week my amazing team, and stay safe.

Miss Coyle.

P7 Home Learning Activities – Term 4, Week 5

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend! Please find attached a suggested timetable of home learning activities and group spelling words for this week.

This week (18th May – 24th May 2020) is Mental Health Awareness Week, which I feel during these challenging and difficult times is more important than ever. I’ve set some nice activities for you all to get involved in throughout the week.

I’ve also set Literacy tasks based on a new class novel which we can all begin reading this week (I’ve uploaded the eBook to Teams), you can even read it with your family/siblings!

P7 pupils remember to please send me a photograph via Glow of yourself wearing your Leavers Hoodie or post it to our Teams page – can I have all these by at least the end of this week? Thanks to those who have already done so.

And finally, thank you so much for continuing to work so hard at home – I miss you all very much.

FYI Friday 22nd-Monday 25th May is a bank holiday weekend so work provided is only Mon-Thurs this week and Tues-Fri the following.

Stay safe and take care,

Miss Coyle.

P1-2 HOME LEARNING 18th May

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well.   Many parents had commented on large amounts of screen time and had requested paper activities. This is mainly what I am uploading this week however, you know best as to the balance needed in your own home.

This week we are going to focus mainly on three areas; Mental maths, Class text: Max the Labrador and Well-being week. Bear in mind that although it looks like a lot of uploads I am catering for P1s and P2s. You can work through the activities at your own pace.

Additionally, although our meet on Teams wasn’t successful last week there is nothing to stop you logging in and exploring the site as there are many additional resources in the files section should you want them.

I would love to see examples of any work, as well as some lovely photos of you all. These can be uploaded to Class Dojo and we can also share them on Twitter with your permission.

As per Mrs. Brazill’s letter, we will not be calling everyone this week but if I will try to speak to anyone I’ve not managed to catch up with over the last couple of weeks.  If you would like to speak to me or need support with anything  you can always contact me via messages if you have any questions.

Have a great week Mrs Craig!

P7 Home Learning Activities – Term 4, Week 4

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely long weekend! Please find attached a suggested timetable of home learning activities and group spelling words for this week.

As usual, the 2nd page of the suggested timetable is list of all relevant website links. All other resources needed to complete tasks have been uploaded to the “Files” section of our P7 Team (Microsoft Teams). If you are still unsure of how to access this please get in touch with me asap – either by getting in touch with the school or emailing me via Glow.

For those of you who missed the quiz last Thursday, I am planning on running another P7 Lockdown Quiz this Friday afternoon as it was very popular, further info will be sent to your Glow accounts at some point.

A note to parents – please could you encourage your children to send me any work they are doing via Glow, this does not have to be substantial but it just means I can keep a record of everyone’s progress – thank you.

I hope you all have a great week!

Stay safe and take care,

Miss Coyle.

Primary 3 Home Learning – Term 4, Week 4

Dear Parents and Children,

We hope you have had a wonderful long weekend and are all happy and healthy.

You can find all of the learning tasks and resources for this week in Microsoft Teams in the Primary 3 Home Learning Team. Please go to the ‘P3 Term 4 Home Learning Schedules’ folder first to access the learning schedule for the week.

It would be so fabulous if every child could please access Microsoft Teams, Sumdog, and EPIC! Reading every day this week. We will be giving prizes to the children who do this (we are able to see who logs in to each of these programs, the sections accessed and for how long).

As always, we are on hand to provide remote support and guidance regarding your child’s learning and/or help you set up the technology at home. Please contact us if you need any support at all, we are here to help.

Have a lovely week,

Mrs. Mori and Mrs. Schammas
