Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – Front Cover

We have been learning all about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We read the first two chapters and created a front cover. This was our booklet all about the work we completed. It was a bit like making a book. We decorated the front covers as attractively as possible.

Visualisation

We all chose a different character to write about. We know we can quote in our visualisations. A quote mark looks like this ” “.

Quiz

We had to create 5 questions for a partner to answer. It was a challenge.

Blogging

We are Katie and Tillie. We are in the after school blogging club 🙂 The most exciting thing in Ravenswood Primary this week is Charan. At first we take our shoes and socks off. We join in dancing and drama with Charan. P4/5, P5/6 and P6 enjoy learning dance with Charan every Thursday afternoon in the gym hall.

P6 took part in lots of fun spelling activities this week. We were learning to spell our common words correctly using a range of strategies. We enjoy having the opportunity to choose what fun spelling tasks we would like to complete. This week our options were painting, chalk spelling, iPad spelling and graffiti boards.
