Look out for new session PE times in Homework diaries! Remember to bring a change of shoes, t-shirt and shorts on PE days. A water bottle is always a good idea!

Primary 5 co-operative learning in Maths
It’s Great Outdoors!
This term P5 are learning all about the world around us in our Great Outdoors topic. We have been learning all about the life cycle of plants and how important they are to all living species. We can’t wait to share what we have been learning at our class assembly.
Festive Fun and Games
Primary 5 had a fun Christmas party with Primary 6. We played lots of party games and took part in Social Dancing. A lot of people in P5 and P6 won lots of prizes.
Science Centre Fun!
This week Primary 5 went on a very exciting trip to the Science Centre, Glasgow. We were lucky enough to get to see the iMAX film, To the Arctic 3D. We learned lots and had a great time interacting with all the activities in the Science Mall.
Andy Goldsworthy Land Art
This term Primary 5 have been exploring Land Art using natural materials. We have discussed art created by sculptor and photographer Andy Goldsworthy and even had a go at creating some of our own. You really can make art out of anything!
Open Number Line Fun in P5
This week Primary 5 have been learning to use the open number line to subtract. This can be easier for some people who find the column method tricky when they have to borrow. It can sometimes take a little bit longer to get the answer but it works for us. We have enjoyed Maths this week.
