Active Maths In P2

Primary 2 children have started learning about position in Maths and we had great fun in our active maths lesson this morning. You can see us designing a railway track, playing a team position board game, designing a patterned rug and playing position word bingo. Time went by so fast and we learnt so much!

This week in “Under the Sea” we are learning about the magnificent mammal-the whale. Armed with our detective magnifying glass and our iPads, we went on the hunt for interesting whale facts to teach each other. With our partner, we decided which fact we wanted to share and wrote it on the whiteboard. We found we are getting really good at asking “Google” clear research questions and we are also great natural teachers!
