P6 : Experiment – Water Pollution in the Clyde

Primary six took part in a science experiment investigating the effect of water pollution in our River Clyde. It is very important to us as this is where we will be releasing our alevins/fish in the future! We used clean water and polluted it via a drama story explaining the different pollutants added to the water and the harmful effects. This includes farm waste, chemical pollution, rubbish and factory waste. Our experiment took the form of a scientific drama where we added the toxins, predicted the conclusion and recorded our results. We invited other classes to come in and shared our learning with them. You can watch our science experiment via our video below!
