On Thursday, the children from the LCSC went to the Community Cafe for a snack. During our time at Castlehill, the children within the LCSC would visit the community cafe regularly. This allowed the children to work on social skills and put their learning into a real life context. Since our move to Orchard, we have been unable to visit the cafe, and so the staff at the cafe very kindly provided transport for us to go back down and visit them. The pupils enjoyed juice and biscuits and seeing and chatting with the ladies they had developed such good relationships with.
