In Primary 6 we were studying Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone – using our Active Literacy Strategies to explore this novel, especially Visuliser. We used the Hogwarts motto ‘Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus‘  (Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon!) and tried to see how many words we could make from this. Our record was 195! We also completed some Harry Potter maths, using timetables! We found a great website with Harry Potter games, and we had lots of fun today!
