Primary 3 learned about Remembrance Day today. We watched a PowerPoint presentation and a video from the CBBC website. Here are a few things we’ve learned today:

Mark – “The poppies grew on the battlefields after World War 1.”

Daisy – “Remembrance Day is on the 11th day of the 11th month.”

Rio – “People are silent for 2 minutes at 11am to think of the soldiers who have died in the war.”
